Firstly it is important for you to know that ALL donation will go direct to The Children's Society. I am funding the adventure myself to fulfill a lifelong ambition and so NONE of the money donated here will be paying for flights, fuel or lodgings !

Secondly, I would like to tell you a little about a charity I continue to support with every new challenge I face. The Children's Society is a well established, respected and highly valuable cause that I have supported for over 10 years. The organisation is a UK based charity which helps take the pain away from children in neglect. I strongly feel that children are the innocents in our complex adult world. Through war, family hardship and often abusive parentage, these youngsters deserve a chance to have a childhood with at least some happy times. The Children's Society offer this chance.
